You can now play Ticket to Ride with Amazon’s Alexa!

Days of Wonder, the publisher of Ticket to Ride, has recently announced  their collaboration with Amazon in a press release on their blog: the first official Alexa skills for Ticket to Ride and Ticket to Ride Europe.
Arguably one of the greatest games of the past 20 years, Ticket to Ride (2004) is a modern era eurogame designed by Alan R. Moon and published by Days of Wonder. The game is a balanced mix between a casual party game and a strategy game, bringing together card drafting, set collection and network and route building mechanisms. Players collect colored cards in order to create train routes across the board, scoring points by connecting different cities on the map.
If you ever want to test your scoring skills in a solo game or you need an extra player for your group, worry no more: you can now count on Alexa, as it can now be used as another player. Besides that, she can also act as a moderator, guiding players on the setup and rules of the game, as well as keeping the score. In addition to that, Alexa will provide thematic background music and sound effects to create an immersive atmosphere for the group.
